1001 Nights: A Love Story About Loving Stories

About the Show

1001 Nights, Flying Carpet’s first production, is a delightful early work of Robert Lopez (composer of the Tony Award winning musicals Avenue Q & The Book of Mormon, and the Oscar winning song “Let it Go” from Disney’s Frozen). Adapted from Arabian Nights, this piece features puppetry, comedy, and musical theatre. Originally produced in the late 1990s, 1001 Nights was revived in 2014 in collaboration with Atlanta’s Center for Puppetry Arts.
