Conceived and Directed by Adam Koplan

The Dancing Handkerchief follows the story of Sebastian, a young magician’s apprentice who falls into his master’s bag of tricks.  Inside this valise, Sebastian discovers a fantastical land where magic props come alive.  Although many of the inhabitants of this place are quite charming, like the whimsical handkerchief and the serpentine deck of cards,  an old rabbit threatens to eat the little boy.  Sebastian decides he must escape from the valise, but escape proves difficult in a place where nothing is as it seems.

The Dancing Handkerchief was presented as part of the Niño Nada Children’s Theater festival.
